Cheryl previously spent over 20 years at KPMG, working in both London and Gibraltar. She is the latest of four Partner hires from the Big Four this year.

Cheryl is recognised in the market as an accomplished insurance audit specialist, with clients ranging from listed insurers (including those quoted on the London and New York Stock Exchanges) to insurtech start-ups and scale-ups, to Lloyds’ syndicates. She has a particular interest in board governance, data analytics and process automation.

Dominic Roberts, Managing Partner, said: “PKF Littlejohn is one of just a handful of accounting firms that has the in-depth expertise needed to fully support insurance businesses, their owners and investors. That reputation is reflected in both the quality of our client base and the strength of our team. This is why Cheryl is such an obvious fit.

“Cheryl has a reputation for being someone who really understands the insurance sector – she is a technical specialist who challenges established ways of working and uses new technology to find commercial solutions to complex issues. Cheryl’s focus on audit quality and her desire to continually improve processes align with our priorities as a firm.

“Cheryl is a champion for women in the insurance sector and for supporting greater inclusion. These are initiatives we strongly believe in at PKF, and we will draw on her expertise to continue to make our firm an even better place to work for everyone.

“Our Financial Services team has seen considerable growth over the past few years as we take on a growing number of larger and more sophisticated clients, strengthen further in markets such as Gibraltar, and invest in new technology. I look forward to working with Cheryl as we continue to drive forward our activities in all of these areas.”
