We have received a number of queries in relation to the change to Section 2, Box 11 in the AGAR for 2025/26.
In prior years Section 2, Box 11 was split into 11a and 11b and in the AGAR for 2025/26 this has been amended by SAAA to include only 1 question:

Therefore, in all cases where the smaller authority is not a sole managing trustee they should tick yes. This does not indicate the presence of trust fund transactions, it instead confirms that the accounting statements contain transactions relating to the smaller authority only.
Section 2, Box 11 should not be left blank, and an ‘except for’ matter will be raised if it has been incorrectly answered or left blank.
